Editorial Consideration and Peer Review

Vandana Publications aims to publish high-quality innovative research works. Peer review is required for all submitted books, monographs, book chapters and research papers before they are published.

Books / Monographs:
The goal of external double-blind assessment of book/monograph manuscripts is to make sure they adhere to the standards of science and ethics. Before going through peer review, the Internal Handling Editor runs each book/monograph through a plagiarism check. Before being published, all scientific matter must pass a minimum of two peer reviews from other experts in the same field. Referees are impartial, external specialists who volunteer to independently review the submitted manuscript.

Edited Volumes:
Manuscripts for book chapters are published in Edited Volumes. A complete chapter includes the following: the title of the manuscript, the name(s) and affiliation(s) of the author(s), the abstract, the keywords, the introduction, the main body with headings and subheadings, acknowledgements (if any), any ethical concerns, any competing interests, any appendices, and references. Academic Editors are in charge of making the final chapter selections for edited volumes. The foremost authorities on their fields worldwide are academic editors. Based on the results of the peer review, as described below, he or she determines if each chapter is appropriate. The Chapters that are lacking, off-topic, or lacking in scientific rigour are promptly discarded.

Research Papers:
The entire reviewing process is coordinated by the editors in OJS and is done as a double-blind review. Papers submitted to our both Journals go through a rigorous peer review process to ensure that the research published is of high quality. At least two reviewers for each manuscript on the related topic are involved in the reviewing process. If there are just two reviewers, the editor’s choice will be based primarily on the first reviewer’s assessment. One cycle of the reviewing procedure will take two weeks to complete for a reviewer. The author’s revision must incorporate previous reviewer comments, as well as notification that the document has been changed. In general, reviewer candidates will be picked based on their worldwide publication record and the quality of the study. The editor then sends an invitation letter to each of the reviewer candidates. The editor can create an account for each reviewer and then transmit the manuscript via OJS after the candidate for reviewer has been advised of their availability for the reviewing process.
